History
[edit]Intuiface is developed by Intuilab, a software company founded in 2002 in Labège, France. Originally focused on user interface design tools for embedded systems and industrial applications, Intuilab shifted its focus in the late 2000s toward interactive content creation as demand for touchscreen technology expanded.
In 2012, Intuilab launched the first version of Intuiface, initially targeting kiosk-based use cases. The platform distinguished itself by offering a visual authoring environment that enabled the creation of interactive experiences without requiring programming skills.
Over the following decade, Intuiface introduced multiple enhancements to its core platform, including:
Integration with real-time data sources such as APIs, sensors, and IoT devices
Remote deployment and monitoring tools for large-scale rollouts
Analytics functionality for measuring user interaction
Support for interactive hardware, including RFID/NFC, barcode readers, and motion sensors
In 2020, the company achieved ISO 27001 certification[1], demonstrating its commitment to security and enterprise readiness.
In 2023–2024, the company released its Player Next Gen architecture, introducing a cross-platform runtime engine optimized for modern web technologies. This included support for running interactive experiences in web browsers and embedding them i
